Texas Four Wheel Drive in conjunction with the White Dove of Hope Demolition Derby is hosting a Show-N-Shine on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Chad Treicel Arena on FM 1488 & 362. Trophies will be awarded for all classes. Show begins at 11:00, trophies awarded at 2:30. Cost is $10 at the gate to enter the grounds benefiting the White Dove of Hope Organization.
There will be plenty to do during the show, a barbeque cook-off, plenty of room for the kids to run, checking out the rigs and derby cars. At 3:00 there will be an auction followed by the derby at 5:00pm. TX4WD has been asked to open the show. We will get together prior to the grand entry to discuss what we will do. The derby is providing 2 crushed vehicles for us to crawl or jump over. This derby has pulled in no less than 5,000 people each year and lasts till almost midnight. If you are interested in attending and due to the distance would like to camp, arrangements have been made to provide TX4WD participants a primitive camp area, port-a-cans will be provided. If you plan on staying the night, please let me know.
