I've got a project Jeep that I'm looking to offload its an 88 Wrangler with a 2004 5.3 V8, a 4L60E, an Atlas II, 14 bolt rear (disk brake), Dana 60 (mid 80's ford), all rolling on a set of 39.5" Irok's on some H2's. The basis parts list includes:
• 1988 Jeep YJ with TJ flares (rear needs to be comp cut)
• 2004 Tahoe 5.3L V8 with roughly 45,000 miles - $2,200 with trans and harness
• 2004 4L60E transmission
• Stand alone “5 wire harness” for the transmission and motor (all labeled)
• Tuned ECU with Binksfab ECU mount (uninstalled)
• Atlas II Transfer Case - never been run (27 spline front, 32 rear) - $2,400
• BeCool Radiator - $500
• Spal fan
• RCI 2161 fuel cell with Artec Bracket - $400
• Dana 60 front from a mid 80’s Ford F350 (4.10 gear, open) -$1,000
• 14 Bolt Rear with factory disk brakes (4.10 gear, limited slip I think) - $800
• Motobilt front bumper - $300
• Dave’s Customs full width front kit (modified to match the bumper) - $325
• Motobilt rear bumper/stretch kit -$400
• Custom built spring packs (stock pack with an extra main leaf with the eyes cut off), spring over
• 39.5” x 17” Irok’s on H2’s - $1200
• Synergy wheel spacers for the front - $100
• Kwik Wire 14 circuit wiring harness (uninstalled) - $250
• Gen Right Rocker Guards (uninstalled) - $300
• Dodge 3500 Master Cylinder - remanufactured (uninstalled)
• Jeep dual cylinder brake booster -new (uninstalled)
• All Autometer gauges (uninstalled)
• New soft top with hardware and tinted windows - $400

The wheelbase has been stretched 2-3" in the front and 6" in the rear using a custom Motobilt front bumper with a Dave’s Customs full width kit and a Motobilt rear bumper with the hangers installed (This work was done at Brave Motorsports). The jeep has a “full cage” (I was planning on extending it).

The remaining work that needs to be done is:
• Steering - I was going to do a hydraulic assist system through Brave Motorsports, Dave most likely still has the parts list.
• Brakes - I was going to buy new rotors and calipers (I have the old ones) and run new lines (I have the lines) and install the dual cylinder brake booster and Dodge Master cylinder (I have both)
• Electrical - just needs to be installed with a dash, not rocket science but time consuming.
• Driveshafts need to be ordered and installed
• Rear fenders need to be comp cut - Brave Motorsports had a pretty slick plan using some gen right blanks and the rocker guards need to be installed.
• Gears, lockers, new hubs
• Needs shocks

The jeep is a great platform and has some great parts - I don’t need to sell it but I’ve lost interest in the project and have started to travel international more frequently and just can’t justify having a toy.

The Jeep is in Houston.

$9,500 OBO.
